Your 500hr certified yoga instructor and guide for the weekend, Sabrina Calli Cafuoco, is a skilled plant-based chef and trained Himalayan Kundalini and Hatha Vinyasa yoga teacher. You will experience powerful practices that include pranayama, kriya and asana. Learn authentic tools and techniques that have transformative effects.

This RESET RETREAT is designed to take you deeper into your own personal practice and give you the tools to affect noticeable change in your life.

Retreat begins at sunset on Friday and ends around 12 noon on Sunday.

*Please note this is a ‘sample itinerary’ and will remain fluid and changing throughout the weekend. As with all life on a barrier island, outdoor practices and activities are weather dependent. Rain and inclement weather plans will be made as needed. Always remember to dress with layers on Fire Island as temps and conditions can change quickly and drastically. October is a very pleasant time of year since the ocean has been warmed by the sun all summer, but be mindful of your comfort as temperatures tend to drop in mornings and evenings.


Fire Island is a tiny barrier beach that sits 5 miles off the coast of Long Island. Despite it’s proximity to NYC, Fire Island is worlds away, making it an idyllic setting for a peaceful yoga retreat and vacation get-away. With the Great South Bay to the north and Atlantic Ocean to the south, you’ll feel a wonderful separation from the mainland the moment you arrive.

As part of the National Parks system, the Fire Island National Seashore is one of the most beautiful natural coastlines around. Our quaint seaside communities and pristine beaches are a known escape in the summer and even more spectacular and serene in the Fall. Come discover the magic of Fire Island and get to the know the REAL Fire Island. You might just fall in love.

Fire Island is easy to get to on public transportation. From NYC you’ll take the LIRR to Bay Shore and then hop on the Fire Island Ferry to Ocean Beach.

All meals are plant-based and prepared by our own private Chef for the weekend. Your deliciously healthy and nutritious meals will be mostly vegetarian, vegan and gluten free with some egg and seafood added. Let us know about any other significant dietary restrictions and allergies. All meals are included in retreat pricing.

Food + Yoga Experience Retreats

“Practicing yoga gives us a direct experience with our inner light.”

Sabrina Calli (aka your fairy house mom) is a 500hr experienced and certified yoga teacher. And she has been a practicing student of yoga for over 20 years. She completed her 200hr YTT in Hatha and Vinyasa, in the heart of the Andes, Patagonia, in 2010. Most recently, Sabrina studied at Sattva Yoga Academy with master Anand Mehrotra in Rishikesh, India. Located at the base of the Himalayas, this 300hr program in Sattva Yoga is an authentic and holistic yoga practice that combines yogic wisdom, teachings and techniques that have transformative effects.

Sabrina brings these teachings to life, both on and off the mat. Fusing what she has learned at the source, in the east, with a modern vinyasa-style flow. Sabrina weaves music, meditation, mantra, pranayama, kriya, ancient wisdom and asana into her practices, creating truly unique and powerful yogic experiences.
